2004. Looking at the AngelCare service we provided for ‘munter support’ in nightclubs and dance parties. Flipside was a youth news and entertainment talk show that aired on TV2 from 2002 to 2004. It was hosted by Mike Puru and this episode they came out and talked to our AngelCare volunteers. We set up a charitable trust which reached out to volunteers from dance party community through media and at parties and brought them together and provided training in emergency first aid, drug counselling, drug education and sent volunteers to parties with advanced first aid training and equipment and saved some lives. My vision was that through legally selling safer drug alternatives we could fund operations like this one and we saw great community engagement.
